Since 1983, Cypress has been an Apple / Mac developer and user. For over 20 years, Cypress has provided industry leaders with innovative solutions for Commercial, Industrial, and Homeland Security. All products were (and still are) designed and manufactured in the US using Macs although our customers (like GMC, Ford, Chrysler, EDS, and down the fortune 500 list) insisted on PCs for their user interface. We have partnered with many companies in the security space who integrate our devices with their Wintel PC software. Since all of our products are embedded devices with no platform dependance, any operating system can be used as a system interface. Cypress is best known for their Suprex®Technology which allows control panels to communicate with their associated hardware over long distances.
